Rainsford’s head becomes part of the trophy collection. Following their confrontation, Malone kills Rainsford with a rocket launcher that sends the lodge up in flames. Malone makes his way to the lodge for a standoff with Rainsford. Malone ends up killing all of the additional hunters. When Carrion fails to check in, Rainsford contacts West to teleport in multiple “mongrels,” who are hunters used to flush out prey. After deciding to spare Carrion’s life, Malone collects Carrion’s arsenal. Malone gains the upper hand by severely wounding Carrion’s neck in combat. Rainsford executes Bishop with a rifle and cuts off his head to add to a vast trophy collection.Īlthough sickened by Rainsford’s actions, Carrion returns to the forest to hunt Malone. When Bishop confesses to killing Jeza, Carrion begins brawling with him. Instead, Malone convinces Bishop to go after Rainsford before Rainsford has a chance to kill Bishop.īishop returns to the lodge to confront Rainsford in the armory. Bishop proposes an alliance that Malone refuses. Jeza gets into a standoff with Bishop in the woods. Rainsford declares that Bishop is now more prey for them to hunt. Bishop catches up and stabs Ecka to death.Ĭarrion brings Ecka’s body back to the lodge and informs Rainsford and Jeza that Bishop murdered him. Ecka breaks his leg by falling down an embankment. Ecka tries using Bishop as a human shield before chasing after Malone. Bishop happens upon the scene and threatens to blackmail Rainsford over Lyle’s murder once everyone returns home.īishop and Ecka have their own confrontation, which Malone breaks up by firing at the two men. Malone spies from the brush as Rainsford executes Lyle. In the woods, Rainsford and Lyle have a confrontation in which Lyle insultingly mentions how Rainsford killed his own wife. Malone is sent into the surrounding forest with a three-hour head start before the six hunters arm up and go after him. Samuel Rainsford, Carrion, Bishop, Jeza, Ecka, and Lyle assemble at the hunter’s lodge on Apex Island. As a hologram, West appears to Malone and compels him to participate by promising to financially reward his grandkids and grant him his freedom if he survives.ĭr.
